Network charges are set by the network company that delivers electricity to your site. Different network companies may have different network charges, but retailers simply pass on those charges to customers. Meridian Energy's policy is to pass network charges on at no extra charge to our customers. There are a few networks that charge retailers in an aggregated form at the GXP and in this case the passing on of charges is more complex.
