When collecting personal information Meridian Energy complies with the Privacy Act 1993.
New customers will be subject to Meridian Energy’s Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity.
The weekend to Queenstown prize is to the value of $1000 (including GST) and includes flights and accommodation for two people, and a guided tour around the Manapouri Hydro Power Station.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Employees and contractors of Meridian Energy and their immediate families, and employees of Meridian Energy’s agencies are ineligible to enter.
The winning entry will be drawn 18/10/10 and the prize winner will be contacted by phone or in writing within two weeks of the prize draw. If the winner cannot be contacted within that time Meridian Energy reserves the right to redraw the prize.
Meridian Energy reserves the right to use the prize winner’s name and photos for publicity purposes.
Only one entry per customer is permitted.
Anyone who joins Meridian Energy and pays their Meridian Energy accounts through Farmlands before 15/10/10 will automatically be entered in the draw.

To be eligible for the $100 credit you must have no active connections or accounts with Meridian Energy at the time of joining.
New customers must join Meridian Energy before 15/10/10 to receive this offer.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and is not available to prepay customers.
The $100 credit is only available once per account. Any additional ICPs switched to Meridian Energy before 15/10/10 will be eligible for a $50 credit.
Anyone who joins Meridian Energy and pays their Meridian Energy accounts through Farmlands before 15/10/10 will automatically be awarded the credit/credits.

In agreement with Farmlands a special prompt payment discount of 15% will apply to all North Island Farmlands accounts until 31 July 2011. After this date the prompt payment discount will revert to 12%.
Any Farmlands accounts held in the South Island will attract a prompt payment discount of 12%.
Customers will receive the prompt payment discount as per the relevant Buying Group/Association contract, provided their bill is paid in full by the due date.

Entries will only be accepted from people aged 16 years or under.

The winning entries will be judged on 13/09/10 and the prize winners will be contacted by phone, or in writing within two weeks of the draw and advised how to claim the prize. If a prize winner is unable to be contacted within 21 days of the prize draw, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited their prize and a redraw will take place.
The Prize Winner must have consent from a parent or guardian, to be confirmed by Meridian Energy, prior to claiming the prize and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if picking up the prize in person.
Meridian Energy reserves the right to use the prize winner’s name, photo and winning entry for publicity purposes.
Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Meridian Energy, its employees and/or agents will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be suffered as a result of claiming this prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

All Meridian Energy rural customers as at 31 August 2010 will automatically receive one entry in the prize draw for every full month they have been a Meridian customer on their current account.

Ten winners will be drawn at random and each will get a prize pack consisting of an ecostore hamper containing a selection of ecostore products.

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winning entries will be drawn and the prize winners will be contacted by letter, phone and/or email within two weeks of 31 August 2010.

All rural customers paying either by direct debit or via their ATS, CRT or RD1 account as at 30 June 2010 will automatically be entered into the draw to win a $100 credit off their August Meridian account.
Rural customers who contact Meridian by 30 June 2010 to go onto direct debit will also be entered into the draw.
The winner will be notified by phone or mail.
Meridian employees are not eligible to enter.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
