• Flexiplan. This product offers an agreed proportion of electricity at a lower fixed price, with the remainder being purchased at the spot market price. This product is ideal for businesses that can actively manage their energy usage. Flexiplan lets your business secure the bulk of its electricity at attractive lower rates, while preserving your flexibility to react to spot market price changes with the remainder.
• Easiplan. This is a product with a fixed price per unit regardless of electricity used. It's attractive for businesses that need certainty and simplicity in managing their electricity account. The price is fixed for the term of the contract, so it removes the risk of energy price fluctuations on the spot market and gives more certainty when budgeting for energy costs.
• Tailored Solutions. Very large electricity users (those spending over $1 million per year per site) should contact a member of our account management team to discuss your energy requirements.
• Email Alert. Provides your business with electronic early warning of potential price spikes in the spot market, giving you time to shift energy usage and reduce your electricity spend. To benefit from Email Alert your business must purchase at least some of its electricity at the spot market prices with a product like Meridian Energy's Flexiplan.
