If you decide to purchase your Solar Hot Water System, then you can choose to delay payment of the full balance until six months after the installment date, with zero interest and zero fees.
If you don’t wish to take the Six Months Deferred Payment option, you can still choose to pay the half upfront and half following the installation of your Solar Hot Water system.
Whether you pay now or later, when you buy a Solar Hot Water system from Meridian you will also be signed up to our Solar Hot Water Pack for two years, which gives you the flexibility to tailor your pricing plan, billing and payment methods based on your needs.

You can choose which plan works best for you. With a fixed rate plan, you'll always know what rate you're paying for the energy portion of your electricity bill. It can help provide some price certainty and make budgeting easier. If you're happy to go with the flow, choose a variable rate plan.
Choose to pay your bill any way that suits you. You can pay your bill by direct debit, internet banking, phone banking, credit card recurring payment, by post or in person at any Westpac or New Zealand Post branch.
Choose to go paperless and get your bills by email. If you choose to receive a paper bill (rather than by email) a $1 (including GST) fee per bill will apply.
You'll get a prompt payment discount of 10% just for paying your bill in full by the due date.
