Appointment of Non-Executive Director to Meridian Energy Board

Further to Meridian’s announcement on 19 July 2021, the Electricity Authority has granted an exemption under the Electricity Industry Act 2010 in relation to the appointment of Tania Simpson as a non-executive director to the Meridian Board.

Accordingly, Meridian advises that Ms Simpson will be appointed as a non-executive director of Meridian effective from the date the exemption is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.
