Effective from 27 June 2023
1. Employees of select Meridian business customers (“Eligible Business”) who are invited to join Meridian via communications supplied by the Eligible Business will, subject to these terms and conditions, receive a credit applied to your Meridian account. The amount of applicable credit will be set out in your offer from Meridian, as determined by Meridian in its sole discretion.
2. In order to be eligible for this offer, you must meet the following criteria:
- a. you must be an employee of an Eligible Business;
- b. subject to paragraph f below, you must join Meridian on, or switch to Meridian’s, 2-year fixed rate Meridian Everyday Economy plan;
- c. you must be a residential consumer as listed on the national electricity registry;
- d. you must meet Meridian’s standard customer eligibility criteria set out in the Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity;
- e. you must not have received any welcome credit or other incentive from Meridian within the 12 months prior to requesting this offer; and
- f. if you are not currently a Meridian customer, you must not have been a Meridian customer in the 6 months prior to the date of your application to join Meridian.
3. On becoming a customer, you’ll be subject to Meridian’s Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity, and our Fixed Rate Plan (FRP) and Everyday Economy Plan terms and conditions.
4. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not transferrable, refundable or redeemable for cash.
5. Applications for credit will be reviewed and awarded at Meridian’s discretion.
6. If you cease to be a Meridian customer before the expiry date of your fixed rate plan, we will charge your final bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit. If you close any of your individual sites or switch any to another electricity retailer within this period, we will charge your next bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit you received for that particular site.
7. Meridian reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time without notice to you. Meridian may also vary this offer at any time by posting revised terms and conditions on our website.
