Mooving Day Campaign 2023 Terms and Conditions – Agribusiness

Dairy Farmers only

Offer: Mooving farm credit (applying to dairy farmer customers that sign up, or move premises, on or after 1 April 2023)

1. The offers described in paragraph 2 are available to dairy farmers who join Meridian, or move to a new farm or residential home on a farm and retain Meridian as their electricity supplier, between 1 April 2023 and 30 June 2023 (promotional period).
2. There are two offers available.
   1. Dairy farmers who have a dairy shed or irrigation pump will receive a $300 account credit for each of the dairy shed and/or irrigation pump Meter/ICP connected to Meridian.
   2. Dairy farmers who have a residential connection will receive a $300 account credit for a Meter/ICP connected to Meridian. 
3. In order to be eligible for this offer you must meet the following criteria:
   1. you must join Meridian during the promotional period, or move premises within the promotional period and remain a Meridian customer;
   2. you must be a dairy farmer; 
   3. you must meet Meridian’s standard customer eligibility criteria (for example: credit criteria, refer to Meridian's Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity for more information). 
4. The account credits include GST and will be applied to your first Meridian bill for the relevant ICP after you join or move.
5. The offer is not transferrable, refundable or redeemable for cash.
6. This offer expires on 30 June 2023.
7. If you choose one of our fixed plans we will charge your final bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit you have received if you cease to be a Meridian customer before the expiry date of your fixed plan. If you close any of your connections (i.e. Meters/ICPs), or switch any of them to another electricity retailer within this period, we will charge your next bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit relating to that connection.
8. If you choose our variable pricing plan or Simple Flexi Plan we will charge your final bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit you have received if you cease to be a Meridian customer within 12 months of joining on the variable pricing plan. If you close any of your connections (i.e. Meters/ICPs), or switch any of them to another electricity retailer within this period, we will charge your next bill with an amount equal to the value of the credit relating to that connection.
9. Meridian reserves the right to amend the terms of, extend, or cancel, this offer at any time.
10. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, unless Meridian agrees otherwise at its discretion.
