Meridian works closely with the country's top rural supply companies to offer electricity pricing, services and terms tailored for their members. As a member, you'll receive a special discount with your pricing if applicable and pay your electricity bills through your rural supply company.
- Customers must be a current registered member of Meridian rural supply partners – Ruralco, Farmlands, PGG Wrightson or Farmsource, and pay through the rural supply partner.
- The Rural Partner customer is entitled to a discount as set out in the relevant agreement between Meridian and its Rural Supply Partner.
- Meridian encourages the use of electronic means for bill delivery therefore Electricity bills will be delivered by email only (PDF).
- The following sets out the General Terms and Conditions associated with the acceptance and use of the “Rural Partner” offer.
- These terms and conditions apply in addition to, and should be read together with, Meridian’s existing Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity and Meridian’s Fixed Energy Plan Terms and Conditions or Fixed Rate Plan Terms and Conditions (as applicable).
- In choosing the “Rural Partner” offer the customer agrees to behave in accordance with the rules for the offer (specifically payment via supply partner).
- Meridian reserves the right to review customer adherence to chosen offer rules and apply fees and/or remove discount where necessary.
- Electronic communications – Meridian will undertake reasonable endeavours to deliver all communications electronically where this is a selected feature of an offer. Meridian reserves the right to support or substitute electronic communications with paper options where it deems necessary.
- When a customer selects to receive their bill by email (PDF), the customer undertakes to keep Meridian updated with a valid email address.
- Any reward offered as part of the “Rural Partner” offer is not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged or transferred and only one reward will be provided per site.
- Rural Partner Customers are not eligible for any reward if moving from one rural supply partner to another.
