Seasonal rates
Depending on when you use electricity you can choose between year-round or seasonal rates for your farm.
- Seasonal rates may suit summer milking dairy farmers, irrigators and some horticulturalists.
- Year-round rates might be better for sheep and beef farmers.
Our fixed seasonal rates give you lower summer rates from 1 September to 30 April as shown below.

Rates that change during the day
You can also decide if you want rates that vary within a day, such as a DayNight rate that has lower night rates.
- DayNight rates often suit irrigators and early morning milkers.
- An Anytime rate may be better for sheep and beef farmers.
