Effective from 1 July 2023 to 31 August 2023 for new customers who join Meridian through RD1 Limited trading as Farm Source ("Farm Source").
1. Sign up to Meridian through your Farm Source account on an Eligible Plan (as defined in paragraph 2) and, subject to these offer terms and conditions, receive the applicable rewards described in paragraphs 3 and 4.
2. The "Eligible Plans" for the purposes of this offer are:
- The Electric Vehicle Plan (a two year Fixed Rate Plan);
- The Solar Plan (a five year Fixed Rate Plan); and
- The Home Plan (a two year Fixed Rate Plan).
3. The rewards for your chosen Eligible Plan will be set out in your offer from Meridian, as determined by Meridian in its sole discretion. Depending on the chosen Eligible Plan, rewards may include the choice of (i) a $250 credit for each residential connection; and/or (ii) a $200 credit or electric charging cable supplied by OEM Audio Limited ("OEM Audio").
4. In addition to the rewards set out in paragraph 3, you may also be eligible to receive Farm Source Reward Dollars from Farm Source for your chosen Eligible Plan. In these terms and conditions, Farm Source Reward Dollars are points for your Farm Source account. Any award of Farm Source Reward Dollars as a result of this offer will be determined by Farm Source in accordance with the Farm Source standard terms and conditions, and Farm Source will be solely responsible for crediting your Farm Source account with any Farm Source Reward Dollars awarded to you. Meridian will not be responsible or liable for the award or payment of any Farm Source Reward Dollars to you in connection with this offer.
5. In order to be eligible for this offer, you must meet the following criteria:
- you must be an existing Farm Source customer;
- you must be a residential consumer, as listed on the national electricity registry;
- you must meet Meridian’s standard customer eligibility criteria set out in Meridian’s Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity and in the terms and conditions for your chosen Eligible Plan; and
- you must not have been a customer of ours in the 180 days prior to requesting this offer.
6. On becoming a customer, you’ll be subject to Meridian’s Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity, Fixed Rate Plan (FRP) Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions of your chosen Eligible Plan and all of Meridian’s other applicable terms and conditions for supply.
7. Payment of your Meridian invoices must be made directly through your Farm Source account. Farm Source standard terms and conditions apply.
8. If you cease to be a Meridian customer before the expiry date of your chosen Eligible Plan, we will charge up to $300 to your final bill, to recover the cost to us of providing the rewards or other incentives you were given when you joined under this offer. If you close any of your individual sites or switch any to another electricity retailer within this period, we will charge your next bill with an amount equal to the value of the rewards or other incentives you received for that particular site.
9. The offer is not transferrable, refundable or redeemable for cash. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
10. Meridian reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time without notice to you. Meridian may also vary this offer at any time by posting revised terms and conditions on our website.
11. Meridian, its employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered in connection with any electric vehicle charging cable supplied by OEM Audio or this offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12. Meridian is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
